Located at a steel mill in East Java, Indonesia, this system was designed, manufactured, and installed by Anhui Tianshun Environmental Protection in September 2023. This system is a key component in treating high-temperature flue gas and dust in industries such as steelmaking and casting. It primarily treats the metal fume and exhaust gas generated during the smelting process in medium-frequency induction furnaces, ensuring that emissions meet standards.
The medium frequency furnace dust collector is a device specially used to treat the high-temperature, high-concentration dust-containing flue gas generated during the metal smelting process of the medium frequency furnace. It has the following features:
High Dust Removal Efficiency: The IF furnace dust collector achieves a dust removal efficiency of over 99% for dust particles larger than 1μm. It effectively captures various dust particles, including metal oxides and carbon particles, generated during the smelting process, ensuring that exhaust gas meets national environmental standards and significantly reducing atmospheric pollution.
Adaptable to High Dust Concentrations: The flue gas generated by IF furnaces during metal smelting typically contains high dust concentrations. This dust collector offers excellent adaptability, enabling stable operation in high-dust conditions and effectively handling high-volume, high-concentration dust-laden flue gas.
High-temperature flue gas resistance: The flue gas generated by the medium-frequency furnace is relatively hot, typically reaching 250-400°C. Key components of the dust collector are made of high-temperature resistant materials. For example, high-temperature resistant filter bags (such as Fluorometalate filter bags) and a high-performance housing structure are used to withstand long-term exposure to high-temperature flue gas, ensuring the equipment's normal operation in high-temperature environments.
Temperature Regulation: Some intermediate frequency furnace dust collectors are equipped with cooling pretreatment systems (such as cyclone dust removal or waste heat recovery). These systems rapidly cool high-temperature flue gas to a suitable temperature range, protecting critical components like filter bags from damage. They also recycle energy and improve energy efficiency.
